Pros

One is an all-black reliance branded one that is cheaper build, can crack, and is black from head to tail. The build is top notch. Sturdy and well made.

High quality contacts insert smoothly into the inlet socket compared to others. This product matches my reliance transfer switch and secures wires well.

The 8/5 soow cord carries two hots, two neutrals, and one ground. Sheathed banana plugs are soldered to the hot and neutral ends for generator hookup.

Very easy to use and good quality item

One of the standout features of this connector is its robust build quality.

The cable sheath was so thick i couldn't attach the cable strain relief and pull the plug cover over the connector and it broke.

Liked the price compared to everyone else'!

I have purchased these plugs before and they are perfect for my use and are a much more reasonable price here than i can get them locally.

Kind of pricey but, i'd buy it again.

Overall, it seems a good value for a 50 amp plug and i'm happy with it.

I recieved the plug on time, installed it immediately.

If you order its a roll of the dice bc users have reported 2 versions that come in a reliance box.

Then one person got a very high quality hubel branded one in reliance packaging.

Competitiveness

By the way, marinco appears to be the same high quality build as the legrand pass & seymour connector.
