These things work well for the price, this is my third one, and still never disappointed

Called remington customer service about issue and got no sympathy or help

To solve some of the complaints people have1 use a common rubber band to hold the cover on2 after shaving lightly blow off the cuttings 3 every three to four days clean the blades with a toothbrush no water and 4 when putting the cutting head on the shaver body squeeze the two buttons on each side of the shaver before sliding the cutting head onto the shaver plastic parts on all shavers will wear down if an item slides over them

Do not tap or clean the cutting screen as this will soon cause the screen to crack as it is very thin

They last about a year before the outer foil breaks away from the plastic rivet rendering the unit useless

I leave this in my car or sometimes pack it when i want to travel light not quite as good as my norelco but at literally one tenth the cost a pretty close second
