Heated up quickly, auto turns off and the heat settings work fantastic with my thicker hair. This is a lightweight, sleek model that is perfect for static and frizzy hair. Heats up quickly and stays remains while using.
The straightener heats up pretty quickly. I curl my hair often with it and have never had it tangle. Only downfall is the lock mechanism it has, occassionally i end up curling and accidentally locking the straightener.
