The actual switch for my sink disposal is in the cupboard under the sink which is inconvenient

Using the provided doublesided tape which is very sticky i attached this switch to the decorative part of the cupboard in front of the sink just off to the side the granite counter overhangs just enough that its nearly impossible to bump the switch accidentally
