Highlights
Quality
The build quality is good, the panels are good, the charger is good, the cables are ok, the case is great.
Used this folding solar panel several times and i am pleased with the performance so far.
So after doing all the copy/paste from amazon to their website and trying to upload a photo of the charge controller with the e... Read More
I gave 5 stars based on the information i obtained from renogy and the way the product works.
Price
In summary, this is a good kit for a good price.
Packaging/appearance
The weight is perfect - easy enough to haul around and setup after pulling it out of the well-made case.
This panel worked well right out of the package to charge my free-standing dakota lifepo4 batteries.
It worked right out of the box.
So i needed an inverter that will not have a problem powering 720 watts, so i got the renogy 2000 w power inverter pure sine wave.
Competitiveness
I have used this to power my trailer on 2 weekend camp trips in the az mtns so far.
I first turned to renogy at the suggestion of a friend who bought a 100 watt, non-briefcase panel for the top of his car for overlanding.
Its a bit more expensive than the competition, but from what i can see, its worth it.
I have always liked renogy solar products.

My initial failure had to do with my equipment not the solar panel

It turns out that the problem was an inline fuse that was broken on my trailer so there was no voltage coming from the battery to the controller and to be clear in that condition the controller will be unresponsive

So if you have a controller that seems to be unresponsive check the connection to the battery
