Pros & Cons
Pros
Great packaging with no scratches. Functioning flawlessly. Do the job.
The panels are compatible with the older model and they use the same hardware mounts (z brackets) they are thinner and lighter than the originals. Used 6' mc4 cables to morningstar sunsaver 20a controller, and 15' of 10 ga.
Cons
It seems solar panel needs other cables to connect to power supply. They're lucky we're not in the wild west or they'd be a grease spot. Now i'm stuck with a $150 piece of garbage and 8 holes in my camper roof.
Renogy leaves much to be desired in terms of service. Not impressed. That's absolutely disgraceful.
Highlights
Quality
Great panels, i’ve ownreed these for a few years now.
The two panels have survived the -50 degrees f northern mn winter, and 100 degree f summer, rain, snow, wind - with no issues.
Pretty much plug and play aside from the wiring on the controller side.
Wire to rv battery or vehicle battery to charge and play satellite radio.
Price
They were right around $100 per 100 watt panel in 2019.
