The clips click and although it takes a little effort to unclick it i'm still able to do it. Can recommend from my limited usage. No regrets though.

Cons
Appears it was not tightened proprely or maybe defective. These mc4 connectors are advertised as copper, but are aluminum.
Regretting buying anything from renogy right now. Buyer beware.

Decided to go with the originals as i didn't want to use substandard cables.
With that said, these cables feel of a good quality.
Price
And the low price is an extra bonus.
Packaging/appearance
I use the renogy extension cables for my solar panels.
Easy fix was to zip tie portions along the 20ft to keep the two cables together.
Good these to be able to move my solar panels to keep them in the sun but out of the way.
