Contacted tech support and went through 30-mins of trouble shooting and they agreed unit was broke but they would replace it.
Just idle your motor while running high-draw 120v appliances.
We ended up using 4awg wire to wire approx 30 ft to/from batteries.

I was having an issue with the unit not turning on until i came across a blog post about the same problem and they fixed it by grounding the battery bank to the trailer chasis
