Pros & Cons

Update Pros and Cons

Pros

These have mc4 connectors which are fairly universal and work with most modern lifepo4 'battery bank' or'solar generators' easy to mount with extra mounting pieces supplied. Have them on a homemade gimbal that points them toward the sun throughout the...  Read More

These panels are easy to install, dependable, and durable. Only downside is that i don't get the 100+ watts some people are claiming. I believe it peaked at 88 watts.

Cons

Panel is being advertised dishonestly. Short circuit voltage is not 0. These panels are not 12 volt, although they have 12v listed 4-5 times on the product listing.

It seems that the controller and/or the connections are faulty. They have a passed qc sticker on them, and obviously the most basic qc test wasn't done. Final zero for three.

Most of my system were bought from vendors such as amazon, except for (1) lithium battery bought directly from the renogy website. Expedited shipping is not available. As far as a source of reliable power for any use, solar is a very bad joke.
