Pros & Cons
Cons
Settings are wiped each time the unit is switched off or unplugged from shore power. This is unacceptable as the settings are a pain to navigate and set. Not bluetooth, has to be done at the unit and the first thing to reset is a blaring unnecessarily... Read More

I have placed the set up in a separate room as it will occasionally cycle and the fan noise is moderate but i like it a bit more muted

The fan is however very noisy and i wish renogy would use progressive fans for their units even in standby mode it turns on once in a while

This makes me disconnect it from grid power to avoid hearing it in the house

The programming of the unit to a custom battery is quite complicated and not very intuitive

The screen is small and feels a tad old but it has real buttons and not silly touchscreen options that never quite works the way it should

Renogy should have provided a remote screen as the units are often installed in hard to reach spots

Instead they only provide a onoff button that is useful but still not super practical to follow your chargedischarge cycles

Since there’s no bluetooth or wifi connection i think renogy should have provided a remote screen
