Pros & Cons
Pros
The charge controller does what it should but i wish there was a selection to upgrade it or just sell the suitcase barebones. The controller is accurate for current and voltage. You will not be disappointed.
Instructions are a bit sketchy. Weight is manageable for one person. Having two separate units is better as contingency.
The zip-up case is very high quality and is what appears to be very heavy cordura nylon constructed over a thin protective clamshell. By padded, the padding isn't thick, but enough to prevent scrapings.
It protects the solar panels. The included stand allows a tilt to get the panel facing the sun. The charger is so convenient and easy to use.
Cons
The legs are positional and the constant set up and take down loosens the bolt. Dirt and mud fills the channel on the backside of the panel.
Renogy makes an average product serviced by inept phone people. Either it works or it dont! Suspect product was returned and resold to me. This is fraudulent.
My suggestion…. That’s right…. This leads me to the biggest pain in the behind…. What a waste. Huge disappointment.
Highlights
Quality
The panels seem well made, durable, and charging my rv battery like i need.
It is sturdy and sets up easily with the adjustable feet.
I've had the panel for only a couple weeks and the handle, hinges, and latches, are already rusting.
The case has an extreamly cheap zipper.
Price
I like it, i got it used for 100 bucks!
Well worth the price to keep the rv upand going while boondocking.
I can't beleive they used to charge over $500 for these.
It would cost a tad more but if you can get them at discount, you are set.
Shipping
I didn't like that i had to put the product back together after delivery.
Waiting for my first bluetti eb3a solar charger to arrive to try it out.
Packaging/appearance
It folds up neatly and packs into an included case that i can carry with one hand.
' when the product arrived, several nuts attaching the feet and also the cable compartment cover were laying inside the solar suitcase.
I am keeping the packing material and box for travel.
Nice package and what you need is there.
Competitiveness
This panel weighs much more than jackery's solar panels, so i'll be using this solely to charge at home since weight is an issu... Read More
Other manufacturers have 3-4 seams for similar wattage which may make those a tad more compact but more difficult to point and setup.
