Pros & Cons
Pros
The renogy panel is easy enough to move around, feel sturdy enough and are easy to set up. Comes with mc4 connector which is common but as far as i can see i needed a xt60 adapter cable to hookup to my solar generator. It also has a type c and 2 usb p... Read More
For the price it’s top notch. Bravo renogy, great product. I’m happy with this panel and and considering getting another to connect in series with this one.
The v-berth absorbs so much energy. The zippered pocket to contain the cord is wonderful - no dangling or dragging cords.
Cons
With both panels wired in parallel they deliver only 250 watts peak. Ratings on these panels are greatly inflated at 200 watts each. Customer service is also worthless.
Highlights
Quality
Easy to set up, includes attached angle supports, rc4 cables output, and even a few usb ports.
These are well made and very efficient.
Panel only produces 58watts in full sun at maximal input, goes down to 38watts when the panel heats up.
These panels kept two 8d batteries topped off under normal battery usage with the fridge runnning non stop.
Price
This one is way better than our last one this is definitely worth the money we spent
I spent weeks researching and shopping for a decent price.
Not a big deal but it would’ve been nice to know that in advance.
Shipping
I was all excited to start charging when it arrived and had to order a charging cord which delayed me by a day.
Packaging/appearance
Was on the look for portable 200w solar panels to supplement my 100w rigid panel mounted on my gx460.
The wiring and connections are stored inside a zippered pouch on the back, keeping them protected when moving and packing.
Light enough to pack away & travel but not to carry around.
Competitiveness
Overall, i would highly recommend, especially compared to the competition "ecoflow" that are double the money.
I have an ecoflow delta 2 but went with this solar panel because it’s cheaper than ecoflow’s version and works just as well.
Overall, good value for the money considering the competitors like ecoflow cost almost double dor the same wattage generation etc.
Like others have pointed out, it's a bit wonky to set up with one person, but not a deal breaker at all.
