I own a rv and when boon-docking this unit allows me to charge my deep cycle battery with my tow vehicle. This allows me not to worry about charging when the rv battery has been drained below 12 volts. Only downside no delay on ignition.

Hooked it up and had input wires reversed and heard a little pop changed the wires around unit didn’t work

So i removed the black end piece where the inputs are and found 2 20amp fuses blown

Be aware that one bottom screw has to come out and the small nut for it is contained in a slot and if will slide out careful not to loose iti have wired this to my fifth wheel using the 7 pin connector

The charge line in my truck is fused at 40 amps and this shouldn’t draw anymore than 30 amp
