Pros

Lengthy reveiw hope this helps. Expensive, but worth it. Big giant external rotating selection switch makes me afraid i will nudge it by accident. When one can get an engineering sample cheaper from manufacturer.

Works for jeep wrangler jl.

Follow renogy's instructions for installing the unit - particularly with regard to fusing and wire gauges. Uses a - and a + that goes right to my alternator or starter battery. Draws power from a 250 amp engine alternator.

V or 12. V. The equivalent sterling charger (bb1240) has this level set at 13. V. This works great, the 15 second delay lets energy spikes that come from starting your engine settle.

Cons

Maybe failure is contagious with this model? To find the inside of the device burnt. One after installation the fuse burned from starter to charger side.

Tried contacting renogy customer no phone response. Customer support is non existent from renogy. It lasts about 1 year before it dies.
