Pros & Cons
Pros
The renogy unit runs two 315 watt solar panels and two large 12vdc group 31 solar batteries. Wired into a camper van directly to the 170ah lithium battery also made by renogy. Smooth install was smooth.
Long enough to cook a delicious corn dog. Inverter is excellent. No problems. Loving it so far.
Cons
Wiring is perfect and it only lasted 5 minutes with a desk fan plugged it. No built in breaker or serviceable fuse(s) also, there are inline soldered 30a blade fuses, that's about the worst design i've seen.
Renogy tech support is ridiculous. Tech support from this company is horrible. And don’t expect any help from renogy customer service.
While the unit performs adequately enough and is priced well enough the company itself *! Worked great for less than a month, then decided to burn out transistors under constant conditions.

It's only been a few weeks, however if this inverter runs a few years like it has been i will be pleased.
The inverter would run for a few minutes and then shut off with the orange gf light illuminated.
This product works as advertised and doesn’t draw much power on its own.
Price
It does look nice and the price is awesome.
Competitiveness
Installed it in place of a renogy 1000 w inverter.
I will add at least two more 12vdc batteries to my grid.
I would buy it again but only if i was going to treat it as a 2000 watt inverter and not in a hardwire installation.
3000 watts would require two sets of 4awg cables, i do not believe one set of 0awg would be adequate if you were planning to us... Read More

I am 100 sure there were no ground faults because all of my inverters have gf protection and only this one particular unit had this problem while installed in the exact same configuration with the same equipment
