Pros

Other equipment is necessary to properly connect to battery, ie breaker, fuse, etc. An extra 10 amp fuse included with panel style connectors on it.

The bluetooth modules maximizes the value. Also the bluetooth app works well on our trusty iphone 8.

Only thing you may need is a good sealant if you go thru the roof with the two solar wires. This is a great setup, especially the 40a mppt pure sine charge controller. Living in alaska sunlight becomes scarce in october until february.

Cons

There is zero customer service - their voice mail even hangs up on you before you can leave a message. After hours of installation they expect you to remove everything and send it back! Battery's are much more for the value!

Don't get suckered by renogy. The chances of getting unbroken panels is not great. Avoid like the plague.

See the photo of the melted deformed case. The cables pictured are color coded, the cables received are all black. Was missing the black tray cable.

I got the whole kit during a sale and it was totally worth it.

I think these sets are a great value as they include all wires, brackets and screws need to do a complete install everything!

The kit that includes two batteries and an inverter is way overpriced.

Particularly if you find it on a prime day sale- it’s practically wholesale.
