Pros & Cons

Pros

The controller is a basic pwm unit, suitable for the intent of this being a starter kit. The only minor complaint i have with the kit is the length of the battery connection cables. Digital readout gives battery voltage while charging in the news.

The load being my 12 volt propane refrigerator. I use this on my boat hoist to recharge my battery that i use on my hoist motor. Saves me from running the generator so much.

Easy to install and hasn't been a problem since. Have not installed as of yet. This seems to have helped fix that issue.

The solar panel is sturdy and strong, but lightweight. Had a solar heating business in the 80s.

Placed the panel flat on top of the camper, not worrying about optimizing position to the sun. The size of the panel is perfect for being able to easily stow in the camper.

Cons

The controller is flimsy wires kept coming out. This panel is junk!

Quality

Easy installation to keep batteries on my boat charged during extended storage.

This unit has restored the level of charge to this battery during times when the boat is used without the outboard running.

We had multiple devices charging every day and the battery was still fully charged after 7 days.

I would have liked it to come with more information about the best way to wire it, like is a fuse required and if so where.

Packaging/appearance

Everything came in as shown, great for small solar projects!
