Quality
The quality seems to be very good.
Satisfied with the product works very well i have it for a backup in my house installed with solar panels next upgrade batteries
The pumps work more efficiently with the pure sine wave power.
The renogy support has been outstanding with the many questions and scenarios i had.
Packaging/appearance
We have a ceramic heater that draws 1500w that didn't like the old inverter, but works on the 2000w quite well.
Competitiveness
I'd certainly recommend this and other renogy solar products.
I first purchased the 2000w model for my truck to run power tools and charge my trailer batteries while driving.
The fan is multi-speed and doesn't even come on pulling 500w load for 5 minutes.
If you have a renogy system this a great add-on.

I live on my sailboat in central america and its not reasonable to obtainship parts down here so i occasionally have parts shipped to transit places in the us so i can hand carry them on my return

My previous ones would turn the fans on during my refrigerator startup and stay on for a minute or so but this units fan only turn on when its hot i imagine as it takes a minute or so with a 100 amp load before the fan turns on but not at all with the small refrigerator load

My last renogy supplied unit not this one but same chicom style delivered with a renogy solar set lasted 5 years before blowing an electrolytic

While the unit got quite warm no part was so hot i could not hold my finger on it

This was done with an ambient temperature of about 78 f 26 c
