This item is of excellent build quality and has a nice black finish.
I'm not unhappy with my purchase, i haven't found any ready-made alternatives, but for the price i wish it was a more polished product.
It combined with the renogy battery monitor help me know the actual power in and power out of my 100 ah lifepo battery.

Competitiveness
I've been using this charger for about 6 months in my overlanding vehicle with a single renogy 100ah lithium battery.
Got 2 renogy panels with this charger connected to my starter battery and a house battery.
That raises a 2-star product to a 4-star product in my mind.
After one week, i heard from karl, a renogy customer service rep.

Solarthe manual states that the input voltage needs to be above 15v to start charging and will stop if the input voltage exceeds 25

Also bizarrely even though this charger will use pv to charge the starting battery as well it will only do so after the service battery is charged
