Pros & Cons
Pros
There are no assembly instructions included, but you can go to renogy's website, and the online assembly instructions are clear & simple. They are very knowledgeable, in addition to being enthusiastic about their products. I wish they put a should... Read More
Cons
No mounting bracket or pilot holes for screws or bolts. No screws or fasteners or anything. Gasket is too big. You're just hoping the adhesive doesn't flex or wear out.
It's not suitable for rvs or vans, the natural flexion in the roof and in the cables will pull this off after awhile. Poorly designed entry housing imho.
Highlights
Quality
I am happy with the product and would recommed it to anyone who needs one, good value, well made.
I just got it (along with the 50w panel) today.
I didn't measure the angle, but i'm guessing ~ 55-60 degrees (with the 50w panel).
Solid build quality, but be aware you can only use adhesive to mount this, or risk cracking it trying to drive a screw through.
Price
I ordered two sets because the price was right.
Shipping
Legs fold up inside of back of panel so can still slip it into its shipping box for storage.
Packaging/appearance
Holes are already in the 50w frame.
Competitiveness
Renogy's customer service is excellent, as i've had a couple of conversations regarding their 30w solar panel.
Installed on a 50 watt renogy panel with no problems, as holes are pre drilled.

I ordered this by mistake as i would rather have one with a flange for mounting screws but time was tight so i drilled a hole in the center and used a 212 machine screw and well nut set into my vans fiberglass hightop plus rtv under the housing

I wish they put a shoulder on the bolt so it could be tightened down and not loosen up as the bracket is moved in and out
