Pros & Cons
Pros
The mobile app works amazingly - instant view when remote. The app is great and intuitive. Every other system ring, blink, wyze that ive used is one click and straight to the video.
Camera's look great at night and daylight. Video is crisp and the night vision was amazing. It is a bit grainy, but far better than what night vision produces.
The phone app and nvr software are amazing compared to my ancient wisenet system. It means the dvr did the work for us. With the 16 channel setup, there are different choices on how the video is show.
Tl:dr - good system, some small annoyances. Technical support for a custom system spanning multiple buildings over a network was awesome. As to that, i have no idea how long our system will retain video.
I love the push notifications for our front door camera.
Cons
Reolink's motion detection is horrible on these. Dust triggers it, the sun triggers it. One is so dirty it is useless in night mode as well. This product is being thrown at people's search results when there are better devices to choose from.
Highlights
Quality
The camera are very nice quality and easy to install.
Great pan/ tilt cam, excellent support by email same day response or next day.
The base for the bullet cams offers enough holes to get a strong proper hold to the wall/roof, and the camera itself just spins... Read More
The live stream feature which is where you can see all eight cameras streaming live at the same time from the app just like you... Read More
Price
High quality cameras at a fair price.
All in all with the nvr and 11 cameras, we'll have roughly $1,400 in the whole system.
They should sell the cameras without any cable and lower the price.
One for $6,000 and the other for $9,000.
Shipping
I received the cameras earlier than expected.
Packaging/appearance
I'm a technician and this was so easy and also packaged really well.
All in all, for the total package, it's awesome with a few quirks.
Competitiveness
Reolink also has a vast number of different cameras including the one that offers an over 180° view that was a very attractive option.
I bought a few different brand units.
I upgraded to this system with the hopes it would work better than the cheaper systems available.
