The nvr is pretty cool to be used by itself and is packed full of options and configuration options.
A nice addition to this reolink box is the esata port.
Competitiveness
I have owned many other reolink products both now and in the past, and i have always been happy with them.
The setup is straightforward, making it accessible even for those who aren't tech-savvy.
Note, reolink calls for the use of only reolink brand cameras and provides a specific list of cameras supported.

The one thing i do not like about this system is that cameras have to be added via the nvr user interface and cannot be added from the web portal

This is difficult for me to enter in all the information and only using a mouse is hard and takes a lot of time

Another thing to note is that i have placed this onto a 1u rack mounted shelf but it is taller than 1u and takes up 2 spots

The larger storage also records for way longer an sd card of the same capacity would cost about the same as the dvr
