Pros & Cons
Pros
The only one caveat is the included cable glands are pretty low quality, because of this i've experienced two leaks in them. Once done however they are awesome! These were all used for emergencies and actually caught perpetrators.
Resolution is great and the gui is very easy to use and navigate. Smallest tv go with 32 because you are going to chop it down to 4 pictures min.
Very simple wiring job to get the system up and running. The easiest setup ever. Motion sensing with push notifications are excellent, and the system is solid and reliable.
It usually catches the quickest of movements. Night vision is good especially if there is little to no ambient light. It will switch to day mode very quick if a bright enough light comes on. Play back of motion detection works great and you can filter... Read More
Cons
Video playback is limited to one camera at a time. Reolink expects that the nvr will assign ips that are not on your lan at the highest level which makes it worthless to use the motion activated system. Nvrs cannot read your configuration file, so onl... Read More
System has a lot of bugs despite being reolink being on the market some time. Nvr and web user experience is just horrible and very outdated. Recent updates to the mobile phone app is almost completely useless now.
Still waiting on refund. Will not ask for or purchase replacement cameras.
The warranty requires you to have the original box and all the items it came with. When you try to get warranty service they make you jump through endless hoops even when you send a picture of the camera or the view from the camera.
There is a lag between when it senses a trigger and when it takes a pic and sends it to you. There is no show me what what/when/how it was triggered.
Highlights
Quality
The build quality of the cameras, video quality and the angles are fantastic.
Set up is very easy as it comes with templates for mounting the cameras and it’s straightforward with plug and play poe.
Obviously addressing the cameras didn't work and a few times while logged into the system the camera told me that i had an inva... Read More
I had to research this myself after my first attempt to access my cameras away from home to find it said the system “wasn’t connected”.
Price
For the price and perceived quality, this seemed like the best choice.
I knew the system i wanted but i didn't want to shell out the extra$$ so i took a chance and got this one.
I like that shipping and easy setup i wish they had a little bit better selection and how you control the cameras and send him ... Read More
Packaging/appearance
Out of the box it comes with a nvr and 4-4k bullet cams.
Competitiveness
The app is very well designed when compared to other security system apps that i have worked with.

I did opt to make my own custom cat5 cable as what is provided are 459 ft cables and that would leave me really long in some areas and too short in other areas

This isn’t expressed or gone over but i would imagine most users want to be able to monitor camera activitypush notifications remotely and setting this feature up is less intuitive and there is nothing provided to guide a user through this
