The camera supports micro sd memory up to 256gb for standalone use. This camera works as standalone system no dvr needed only needed micro sd card. The camera can record up to 8 gb at a time.

The camera has a pig tail of multiple cords to give you multiple ways to power it. The nvr has an 8 port poe switch built in, but it must also be a router, because it wants to use a different subnet if you put the camera on the nvr's switch.

Cons

Technician says its life span will be 2/3rds shorter than the dome style camera. My cameras are hung so that they cannot be reached.

Quality

Well built with good image quality and motion detection.

The quality is good, and i haven’t had any issues with the software so far.

I’ve had two issues, one camera was doa and the hard drive fried after 3 months.

Prior reo camera’s pitted and stopped working after 2 -3 of constant exterior exposure to the salt air environment.

Price

Given the price, this is a really nice camera.

Good price, with a very consistent system.

Buy too cheap of nvr stuff and you get garbage.

Delivery was quick and installation and setup were easy.

After traveling from nj to colorado to baltimore to horsham pa it finally arrived after four days.

I submitted a help request and very quickly got a reply from technical support at reolink.

Packaging/appearance

I used home depot, round junction box and drilled 3/4" hole in center for 3-cables, put all cables inside box.

It's already a dense package with the camera sensor and processing unit inside the metal case, that acts like a heat sink.

Box was worse for wear but camera was ok.

Competitiveness

This camera is really feature packed compared to other brands and the price is unbeatable even before the available discounts.

The 810 is a rock solid upgrade choice over the 510.
