Motion Alert Management
Customers have positive feedback regarding the motion alert management and expandable local storage features of the Reolink Home Hub, which provides peace of mind for comprehensive home security with no monthly fees. However, some users wish for more advanced smart home integration or additional features beyond basic security.
Connectivity Reliability
Customers have mixed opinions regarding the connectivity reliability of the Reolink Home Hub. While some are pleased with its stable and fast connection, others have experienced frequent disconnections and issues connecting their cameras. The hub's ability to support both 2.4GHz and 5GHz Wi-Fi 6 and expandable local storage is appreciated by many, but some users have reported connectivity problems, especially when dealing with widely spaced cameras or a large number of devices on the network.
Highlights
Quality
We are getting excellent quality and resolution from recordings and are able to manage everything seamless on the app.
Easy setup, and works great with the reolink door bell.
The system goes down at least 2-3 times a day in which i can’t connect to any of the cameras or the saved clips.
I won't comment on the quality of the picture from the camera since one can use different cameras with this hub.
Price
Best of all, there are no monthly fees, making it a cost-effective solution for comprehensive home security.
I bought thru the reolink website where it was about $20 cheaper with some discounts.
The inclusion of a 64gb microsd card means you can start using it right away without any additional costs.
Shipping
It's incredibly faster, and i haven't experienced any loading failures since the installation.
Competitiveness
I have additional reolink cameras (more than the 8) - it seems to be a better solution to just buy a 2nd hub versus a pro version.
We are linking it with 4 reolink cameras around our 2000 sq ft home, and it pairs well with reolink products so far.
While i don't have a 20 camera network, i'm sure this would work just as well with more than i currently have.
