Reolink app is needed to set up the camera either on phone or pc. Can be installed on windows, macos, android and ios. Mobile app is pretty good and it can be used with other software that has onvif support.
This little reolink is not only the least expensive one i've bought but, by far the easiest to setup. Easy to install and set up. For many people the fact you don't need to be a technical wizard to install it is a real plus point.
Cons
Rlc 422 dome cameras are useless at night as reflect infra red back on to the lense. Rlc 511s suffer from water ingress, of course just out of warranty.

I have had no reliability issues with this kit whatsoever and when i have contacted reolink tech support they have been brilliantthe applications are really slick and easy to navigate and the picture quality from the 4mp cameras are great
