Highlights
Quality
Excellent video quality and the motion detection works well.
-great quality camera-supports rtsp and onvif (tested with avigilon and milestone systems)durable metal housing
The screw holes are recessed on this camera and i didn't want to drill them out for feat that i might make them too big to effectively use.
Lens is truly scratch resistant poly-carbonate (i checked!
Price
Very pleased with this camera especially at the price.
By the standards of dome cameras, it's actually excellent for the price.
Guess that is what i get for not paying for a ptz.
And about those, like any camera in this price range you're going to get false positives.
Packaging/appearance
♦product packaging gives a false sense of security.
The camera comes with two pieces of packaging material that are not really recyclable.
Competitiveness
I think the price step from the 520a to this camera is worth it, even more so when reolink is running a sale which they regularly do.
I've been using reolink products for several years now and each product gets better and better.
This is the biggest issue with reolink software compared to others.
Altogether, i would recommend this camera to anyone looking for excellent picture quality at a fraction of the cost of the competitors.
