Reolink has since got in touch with me since my feedback and apologised for inconvenience and offered £40 refund on replacement due to the mishap

Initially it made a strange noise seemingly from the device itself

It turned out to be a combination of a faulty hard drive and an nvr issue causing it to reboot every five minutes see photos and video
