Pros & Cons
Pros
Just physically mount the camera, plug it in to the poe cable, scan the bar code to download the app. The reolink app also works very well and is able to scan the network to find recently installed cameras. Its android app is ad-free, light and full-f... Read More
I have no hesitation in recommending them. The quality is top notch. They're nicely designed and discrete.
Picture quality (day & night) is very good. Resolution is more than enough for covering a large area. I am very impressed the quality is just perfect.
Use 100% copper cat5e cable, use a cigarette lighter to check it’s not the cheaper copper coated aluminium. One ethernet cable from a power over ethernet switcher or reolinks own nvr is all you need for both power and pictures.
Bought these to add to my 2 foscam ip cams that are no longer stocked. Imaged quality is superb, but the night vision, which is often the achilles heel of cameras is absolutely crystal clear. The difference in quality between the fosc am's and these i... Read More
Cons
These are high def cameras and they will eat through your network capacity if you have a lot of them. It drops off the synology list when this happens so no more coverage on that site. But what is inexcusable is the support.
Highlights

Packaging/appearance
These were incredibly easy to set up, no power required, just poe from the reolink nvr that i purchased with these.
Competitiveness
The cameras work fine with a floureon nvr using onvif on port 8000.
So much better than hikvision ones lm replacing .
Dead easy to configure, these are a doddle to fit given they are powered via the network over poe.
To over come this i had to terminate my own cat6 network cable without the plastic cover / boot that the rj45 termination end sits inside.

Dont get me wrong they provide good quality images and video but to get them to work along side blueiris is a pain and settings have to be unchecked to make these cameras work which push up cpu usage on the server
