Pros

The quality of the product is also unmatched all around from the material to the picture quality. Pictures can be zoomed in through the app to capture a specific image within the frame.

Mobile app works remotely - even over cellular data. Iphone app is amazing because all you have to do to get the camera system on your phone is to scan the qr code on the nvr.

This really stumps me, being a cat5, directly wired system. Comes with pre-terminated cat5 cables but i ended up buying a 500ft roll of cat6. I was referred to these cameras as an alternative to our cable company system and couldn't be happier.

Recordings played fine on android and via web interface. Select 'playback' tab. Select the cut / scissor icon, find it in the recording. Motion triggers are really sensitive.

Cons

Nvr is complete garbage. This camera system programming is heavily flawed. Tech support isn't any help. Very disappointed and will be returning.

Notifications for motion are ridiculous at best. Hdmi and vga ports are dead as well as the ethernet uplink. It doesn't matter if i’m viewing the cameras through the hdmi or vga output, the 2 cameras still freeze. It lets me watch someone steal my hit... Read More

Tried multiple resets and multiple cords and nothing. The settings never save. Turns out you cant access them via a pc because the client will always fail to download and the browser wont work either.

Competitiveness

Instead of just one and using a hub to split off to multiple cameras like you can on other higher end brands.

There are many products out there both cheap and expensive and ive done both.

The poe (power over ethernet) is way better resolution than the analog systems other companies sell.

Most other companies sell systems like this for a similar price but their systems are not digital like this one.
