I love this cat fountain but the pump malfunctioned after about 9 months of use. Used it x3 weeks, unplugged and stored in cool, dry area for 2 weeks. Plugged it back in, died in the next 24 hours.
Good luck connecting two female connectors together. Replacement pump looks exactly like the original, but the wiring is reversed so you can't connect the new pump to the original hardwired connector.

Previous one failed due to poor maintenance this should be ok now

It stopped working a few weeks ago and i tried turning it off and back on cleaning it and letting it rest for a while none of which worked

However i left a negative review since it stopped working and the seller contacted me suggesting that i clean it again they included a video showing how far apart you can actually take it and if that didnt work they would send me a new pump

Im guessing it was clogged when i first cleaned it then something didnt click properly when i put it back together the first time

I dislike the fact that these burn out when the container doesn’t have enough water to submerge the pump

Theyre the same pump but the pigtails are reversed so its not plug and play

Start by removing all the screws that hold the container together

Note that there is an opening on the bottom of the plastic shroud that has a slot cut out for the power bulkhead
