I'm one of the people who complain of discomfort on stock grado headphones: i have strange cartilage that actually is above the surface of my ear edges, so the grados, with their big, open assembly, has that sorta small chicken wire covering grinding against my ear -- and it is not pleasant, despite the quality of the sound.  Read Less
