Pros

The hard part is getting to the latch and removing the remnant plastic. Used a dremel to remove the plastic before attaching the replacement latch.

Nice style and durable feel. Built, fits like a glove. Great replacement latch.

Easy to install. Two quick grub screws (included with a tool) are easy to adjust. Once installed the latch release handle worked flawlessly.

Used on honda civic ex. Installed on 02 civic ex. Fits my 99 civic. Replaced the latch on a 1999 cr-v. After breaker another hood latch release on my wife's crv.

Will outlast the car. Similar to the metal part of the seatbelt buckle. The one in my grandparents car is not as sturdy as this one.
