Pros & Cons

Pros

This way, everything can be done at a workbench. Plenty for sale on amazon. Note to item is great.

It even seems that my garage door is quieter now either due to the new part, readjustment of the chain or both. Worked for our 1998 1/3 hp chamberlain garage door opener.

Cons

Nothing says quality like skimping out on a few drops of locktite. Poorly constructed and cheaply made. Broke within 2 days of installation. Failed even with limited (1-2 months) ight use.

Send it back immediately and save yourself the stress and aggravation for purchasing a faulty part. Part is defective. Don't buy it for a craftsman 3/4 hp door opener.
