It was originally sent with two pins that were not the same size i contacted the seller and the corrected this immediately and sent me another

As a matter of fact i had to actually reduce the size just a bit not by removing any links but by bringing in the adjustment near the clasp to the innermost slot

The band that i originally received didnt quite fit on the watch

Anyone who has ever installed a watchband knows that it has to go in between the lugs at a slight angle thus the 22mm of the band occupies a bit more space due to the laws of geometry which are strictly enforced where watchbands are concerned and i could not get it to fit between the lugs no matter which angle i attacked it from

Actually while i waited for the replacement it took just a couple of days figuring i had nothing to lose i filed a tiny bit of metal off the back of the band with a fine diamond file in all four places where the pins are inserted top and bottom on both ends of the band

And was able then to get the band to fit between the lugs

As i said its on the back so not visible when the watch is being worn

So i never actually yet got a chance to see if the replacement band would fit any better but now i have a spare band in case the one on the watch breaks
