Ive used cast irons for over a decade now so im used to having to season it and cleaning it properly without soap and water

Like a cast iron you want to clean off the factory seasoning because who knows what they use

You shouldnt cook with it right when you get it with its preseasoning

Generally dont use soap and water except for maybe the first wash to get all that preseasoning off

Youll need to season it about 3x the first time and youll see that food just does not stick often
