Pros

Metal is well coated to prevent rust. Good locking mechanism, rust proof coating on the metal, and a solid handle.

These pruning shears are easy to grip, sturdy, and well designed. The safety lock is sturdy, the blade is sharp and the foam covers on the handles are comfortable. They provide you with a spare spring which is nice.

They are very well engineered and constructed of what appears to be quality materials. Overall they’re pretty good for the price and are perfect for beginner gardeners. They work as they should.

I appreciate the locking mechanism that keeps the blades securely closed when not in use. The adjustable lock which allows you to adjust how much they close to accommodate smaller hands is a real plus.
