Pros

The timer allows programs to be set hourly, daily or weekly. Just set it and let 'er to the timing for you. In the picture above i am partway through setting the new timer and have set it to water on monday, wednesday and friday of every week.

This unit attaches, top and bottom, to standard garden taps/hoses. And the strainer should be cleaned if dirty or replaced if damaged.

It works wonderfully, so far. Everything seems ok.

For me, it has an italian retro design *. The brass connector really makes me feel good about the sturdiness of the design.

Cons

Programming instructions are neither clear nor intuitive. Getting the right setting by trial and error is very inconvenient. When you turn the faucet on, the water starts going through the hose to the sprinkler.
