It not only came fully charged, it’s one of the best ni-mh batteries i’ve ever had.

I have two of these batteries and i use both a charging cradle and the oem plug-in battery charger.

Not hard to do, look at one of the posted pictures and scrape the insulation off on the bottom cell right side where shown.

Seems as if you must use an external charger, the battery i received will not charge via the ht plug on the radio with this battery.
