Pros

This is exceptionally great for cruise. Very good buit quality, range it is about 2 miles in rural area. This is my 3rd purchase of retevis radios and they have all been outstanding.

Ideal for amateur rs as tx and rx frequencies and pl can be independently programmed. Putting the optional clip on the back is a little tricky, but once you do one or two, it gets much easier. It picks up on public ems channels.

They work wonderful for football officiating crews. They are pretty durable which is good because my people are always dropping them. It is unbelievable how clear they are and easy to use.

The voice quality is good given the price. The earpiece is sturdy enough. I highly recommend these radios to any hunter that hunts in groups.

It's easy to use. It stays plugged up. It is used 24 hours seven days each week. Good range, sound clarity is good.

Cons

There seems to be a design flaw in the battery compartment. The warranty on these is next to useless. Within few week the battery was damaged.
