Pros

Audio quality is so clear it last for a 24 hours used and standby mode. Tough and reliable. Very dependable and easy to use. Light and sleek.

The earpiece is comfy and everything attaches well. They are very loud, and clear. Needed to communicate between backstage and light/sound booth at a theatre production.

The trade off is you learn a little about frs/ham radio by downloading the programming software from retevis. No radios were damaged in the melee. The radios are compact and easy to carry or to clip to clothes or belt.

Cons

Retevis' vox device is not compatible with other devices. My husband is handicapped and cannot use the *. Plugged the earpiece into the radio and no sound at all.
