Pros & Cons
Pros
Worked fantastic. Great headset. My family loves these walkie talkies.
Nice and ilove it very handy and easy to used the voice and audio quality is so clear it last for a 24 hours used and standby mode. Easy to use. Tough and reliable.
The battery lasts several day (even when we forget to turn it off) we charge them at night and a charge usually lasts 2 days or so. Min charge on the charger while driving and we continued our last leg of the trip with them.
The trade off is you learn a little about frs/ham radio by downloading the programming software from retevis. No radios were damaged in the melee. The radios are compact and easy to carry or to clip to clothes or belt.
Cons
Retevis' vox device is not compatible with other devices. My husband is handicapped and cannot use the *. Plugged the earpiece into the radio and no sound at all.
Highlights
Quality
We have used different types of walkies to communicate with the kids around the neighborhood.
In fact, one of my workers threw one on the hard concrete just before trying to start a knife fight with the electrician.
