Pros
Items are exactly like pictured. They come programmed with some frs(ish) frequencies (see pix) that all have tone coded squelch enabled.
The audio is not super, but it is readable. Reasonably priced, works good. It is quicker than finding a store phone.

Background noise does affect the quality of transmission and don't speak too close to the microphone or the audio distorts.
However, walkies are a great quality, good range, comes with belt clips, charger, and a lanyard.
Packaging/appearance
Low quality, have to swallow the mouth piece to be heard (even with volume up on the walkies), and flimsy.
Competitiveness
We have had no problems at all with these walkies.
Great upgrade from the h777 much more durable than similar priced radios
The walkies were the main reason for the purchase, i knew it was too good to be true to have all of that for the price.
My last retevis radios lasted me 3 years and need more due to breaking then from high falls or rain and corrosion.

However i dislike they have a fixed belt clip instead of spring loaded i have to clip to the pads on my harness

I got 2 bad batteries and no replacements to order and lost 3 clips with no replacememts to order
