Pros & Cons
Cons
Low quality. Every other word comes through.
Highlights
Quality
Good range with the long antennas as well.
Good range, good sound quality, battery life is great.
On the retevis, sound quality is much better at any distance.
With the uniden, i get about 1 mile until the sound is jumbled.
Price
Cost me only $9 to use the right screws.
Packaging/appearance
I suspect this is due to the quench setting on the retevis, where as the uniden does not have a quelch function.
Competitiveness
Not sure why the one star review, but if you know how to use two ways, then you should not have any problem with any retevis product.
It's quite a bit larger than the typical frs radios.

This would have been a 5star review had the company been more forthcoming in its description of these radios
