Pros

The antenna it came with has excellent swr and decent performance. The radio itself is of modest size and the transmitter output matches the spec well. It has really good range, easy to use, and is very durable.

This is my favorite ht when upgraded with opengd77 firmware - even if you don't use drm function. Backup code plug and calibration stuffs. Excellent with open gd77 and diamond srhf10.

Cons

Usb driver is incompatible with the version of win 11 i have. Zero quality control. Save yourself the money and headache.

After 30 mins of fiddling, i went ahead and flashed this thing with opengd77 firmware and boy, this thing is now a ham radio!

Immediately after i posted my review, i was contacted by angela from retevis direct and they shipped me a new unit, no questions asked.

Contacted retevis, they responded in a timely manner but wanted me to take a video of the issue and sent it to them.
