Pros
They are sturdy, easy to use and very clear at the distances i've tested them. Used them to communicate between two cars on our trip from so cal to kansas. Each household with have a pair.
Radios are compact, with a built-in flashlight, which we found very handy. Voice quality is very good. Vox works very well. These make it so we can keep doing what we’re doing and save our voice lol.
Reliable charging with excellent battery life. They charge via usb and can take either rechargeable aa batteries or regular. The battery life and the fact that they are recharable are a giant bonus.
Menu is intuitive and easy for all to use. The ability to lock onto one channel is wonderful. Imagination is being utilized greatly.
Cons
On paper they have the features i want but in practice i just find them frustrating to use. When fully charged, once you hit the button to talk, the battery drains to nothing. The radio chews through batteries at a rate of.

Its almost like you have to leave it on the charger all the time because i never know when were going to use them and past couple times i went to use them and the batteries were completely dead
