My only complaint is how difficult it is to insert the device into the charger base. It's nice that this re-programming option is available though. Retevis channels 10-12 are offset by 5 frs channels, i. Used up in the hill country.
These radios do what they're supposed to performance, service, durability. These look great, are small and easily hide behind a light jacket on my belt. These are very handy on the job.
Cons
Ordered a total of 8. Light keeps flickering in the charger. One of the walkie-talkie came defective. Driver got the delivery backwards.

We drove in a convoy of 5 cars for almost 24 hrs.
The retevis rep was in touch to check up that the replacements arrived on time and made sure that all was good.
Updated: retevis promptly provided links to their programming software and drivers for use with a pc.
Packaging/appearance
Took about 2 hours to fully charge, had all the necessary batteries, belt clips, chargers, wires and was well packaged.
I opened the box and immediately panicked, there were 2 boxes, each with 2 wt in there.

Lastly, retevis channel 7 and channel 16 have been assigned the same frequency; that seems to be a waste of a channel.
