These are great, they work for a good couple of miles even with pretty thick tree cover!
4 stars because programming them was impossible with the software supplied.
Radios seem ok but the included headset i used became useless after only 2 days.
We actually ended up with 65 of these total and only 1 malfunctioning battery, that's quality in my opinion.
Price
The radios themselves are amazing for the price, not one issue with the radios.
Seller recommended the very reasonably priced heavy duty upgrade earpieces which fit over the ear.
The radios are good for the money.
They work well for the money spent.
Competitiveness
Once programmed they were just as good as our 888 and 777 radios.

Battery life was fair at a day on average with heavy usage and multiple days with minimal usage

Range left something to be desired however in the resort we were in it worked almost end to end so i really cant complain at this price point

Testing prior showed just over half a mile in a neighborhood setting with average tree lining

A note about frequencies these are 16 frequency and if you get the programming cable can be set to have a scan channel take in everything i think or program to frs legal family radio service frequencies

From what ive seen with these security staff etc who use walkies use these same 16 frequencies
