The rt76p works well and the transmit distance is excellent. The included antenna works well. The backlight works well, but stays on in channel scan mode, which adds to battery drain.

The channel name bug - chan 000 is chan 1, so they are all off by one digit- can be corrected by renaming, then in the optional feature section of the software you need to set the chan display to ch + freq. The menu and screen are very close. My only ... Read More

These are really good radios and supper great price.

For the price, i have nothing unforgivably bad to say about the radio.

It is definitely not the quality of a used motorola xts3000, but it's cost is less than 1/4 of an xts3000.
