Pros

Great product. As advertised. Bought it based on reviews on youtube and have not been disappointed. Case is my creation and not included with purchase.

Software is a little clunky on scrolling due to older windows support, but is fully functional. Easy set up and worked great. Compact and easy to set up.

Cons

It only puts out three watts (not 10 as advertised) and only has an effective range of a couple thousand feet. The tiny duplexer has very limited range in its adjustment.

It covers 5 square miles pretty effectively on a 40' tower with the retevis base station antenna.

Very impressed with the build and abilities of this repeater.

Didn’t like their leather strap, so just replaced it with the nylon one.

Honestly that is expected, antenna quality height and over all placement is more important that wattage anyway.

Great price considering it's everything you need except for the antenna!

Shipping direct from manufacturer was quicker than regular post from florida to virginia!

Shipping from hong kong was super quick less than 2 weeks.

Competitiveness

(use a free 3-month "windows edge developer" vm from ms if you normally run linux or macos) the programming cable worked flawlessly.

Both purchased direct from retevis site after amazon malfunctioned on delivery estimates.
